As the current bull market rages on, now midway into its third year, some investors are beginning to worry that the tides are turning. According to the most recent weekly survey from the American Association of Individual Investors, a whopping 60% of U.S. investors feel bearish about the market’s future — the highest that figure has been in the last 12 months.
The S&P 500 has soared in the double digits over the past two years as investors have piled into growth stocks and bet on their successes in a lower interest rate environment. Growth companies generally outperform when they can more easily borrow to develop and expand, and a stronger economic backdrop means consumers have more money to spend on these players’
(Bloomberg) — US employers probably added jobs at a moderate pace in February at a time of federal government layoffs and a consumer spending slowdown.
Payrolls rose by 160,000 in February, a slight improvement from the 143,000 increase a month earlier yet softer than during the final months of 2024,
BofA raised the firm’s price target on Bloom Energy (BE) to $20 from $18 and keeps an Underperform rating on the shares. Despite a “solid” Q4 earnings beat, the firm came away with more questions than answers, as backlog and order rates disappointed, and 2025 demand post-ITC expiration remains unclear.

NEW YORK (AP) — U.S. stocks rallied on Friday to close out their dreary February on a brighter note.
The S&P 500 jumped 1.6% to trim its loss for the month, enough to make it the worst only since December instead of since April. It had dropped in five of the prior six days after weaker-than-expected reports on the economy and worries about President Donald Trump’s tariffs knocked the index off its all-time high set last week.
