The U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) stated on Wednesday that the Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) for Social Security in 2027 will be 3.6%.
The Cost-of-Living Adjustment, or COLA, provides an annual inflation adjustment to Social Security benefits and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits.
The agency stated that average monthly Social Security retirement benefits will increase by $75.
