Deliveries and production of its electric vehicles (EVs) were both up sequentially and year over year, handily topping analysts’ expectations.Yet Tesla (TSLA +3.06%) shares tumbled on Thursday after its report showed it delivered 480,126 EVs during the three months ending in June while also manufacturing 451,758 automobiles.

Investor sentiment towards equity mutual funds improved in June, with net inflows into actively managed equity schemes rebounding sharply after touching the lowest level of the year in May. US stocks diverged at the open on Friday as investors awaited SK Hynix’s (000660.KS) US listing, viewed as a test for the AI trade, and monitored traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) gained 0.2%, while the S&P 500 (^GSPC) traded roughly flat. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) also hovered below the flat line following a winning day on Wall Street.

Greg Abel‘s first quarter running Berkshire Hathaway‘s equity portfolio produced one of the most dramatic reshuffles the conglomerate has seen in over a decade. 

The new CEO initiated or significantly expanded positions in five stocks while dumping 16 others, shrinking total holdings from 42 to just 29 in a single quarter.
