After struggling during the market downturn, the momentum strategy—chasing recent winners—is back on top. Funds tracking momentum indices are capitalising on the current market recovery. But should investors jump on the bandwagon, or is it too soon to ride this rally?

US stock futures wavered after investor optimism largely persisted for another day despite growing warnings that relief over trade developments could be short-lived.
Futures attached to the Dow Jones Industrial Average (YM=F) slipped 0.1%. Futures attached to the benchmark S&P 500 (ES=F) climbed 0.3% while Nasdaq 100 futures (NQ=F) gained 0.5%.
Tracking global cues, Gold June futures on MCX opened lower on Tuesday at ₹92,965 per 10 grams, down ₹332 or 0.36%. Silver July futures also dipped, trading at ₹95,172 per kg — a drop of ₹281 or 0.29%.
