Bandhan Gilt Fund leads gilt – short & mid term mutual funds in one-year CAGR returns; delivers 6.3% gain
Bandhan Gilt Fund delivered 6.3% CAGR returns over the last one year and 7.6% CAGR over three years, according to ACE MF data on July 28.

The one-year CAGR return chart for the gilt – short & mid term mutual fund category is led by Bandhan Gilt Fund, which delivered 6.3 percent. ICICI Pru Gilt Fund and SBI Gilt Fund occupy the next two positions with returns of 4.3 percent and 3.2 percent, respectively, according to ACE MF data on July 28.
The ranking considers only schemes with assets under management of at least Rs 1,500 crore. Among the top five funds that meet this criterion, ICICI Pru Gilt Fund has the largest corpus at Rs 8,784.9 crore.
The benchmark comparison is also important. Bandhan Gilt Fund was ahead of its benchmark by 3.8 percentage points on a one-year basis, with the benchmark returning 2.6%. It was also ahead of its benchmark by 0.7 percentage points on a three-year basis, with the benchmark returning 6.9%.
The leadership shifts in the one-month comparison, where ICICI Pru Gilt Fund tops the list with 0.5 percent.
The lead does not change on a three-month basis either. Bandhan Gilt Fund also tops this comparison with a return of 4.3 percent.
The three-year return table also has Bandhan Gilt Fund in front, with the fund delivering 7.6 percent.
Return rankings across mutual funds can shift when the comparison window changes. This makes it useful to read the headline return along with shorter and longer return periods.
