Bandhan Gilt Fund leads gilt – short & mid term mutual funds in three-year CAGR returns; delivers 7.5% gain
Bandhan Gilt Fund delivered 7.5% CAGR returns over three years and 5.6% CAGR over the last one year, according to ACE MF data on July 21.

Bandhan Gilt Fund currently leads the gilt – short & mid term mutual fund category with a three-year CAGR return of 7.5 percent. It is followed by ICICI Pru Gilt Fund and SBI Gilt Fund, which delivered returns of 7.1 percent and 6.4 percent, respectively, over the same period, according to ACE MF data on July 21.
The ranking considers only schemes with assets under management of at least Rs 1,500 crore. Among the top five funds that meet this criterion, ICICI Pru Gilt Fund has the largest corpus at Rs 8,784.9 crore.
The benchmark comparison is also important. Bandhan Gilt Fund was ahead of its benchmark by 0.8 percentage points on a three-year basis, with the benchmark returning 6.7%. It was also ahead of its benchmark by 3.7 percentage points on a one-year basis, with the benchmark returning 2.0%.
The one-month return table also has Bandhan Gilt Fund in front, with the fund delivering 1.3 percent.
The same scheme also stays ahead on the three-month return chart. Bandhan Gilt Fund delivered 3.3 percent over this period.
The lead does not change on a one-year basis either. Bandhan Gilt Fund also tops this comparison with a return of 5.6 percent.
Looking at more than one return period gives investors a fuller picture. The top performer in a recent window may differ from the fund that has delivered stronger longer-term returns.
