Bitcoin ETFs attract $2.4B in largest inflow week since October 2025
US spot Bitcoin ETFs just had their best week in nearly a year. The products collectively pulled in $2.4 billion in net inflows for the week ending September 25, a haul not seen since early October 2025.
That single week was enough to flip an ugly trend line. Year-to-date net flows for spot Bitcoin ETFs now sit at roughly +$934 million, a remarkable recovery considering the category was staring down a deficit of approximately $5.8 billion as recently as mid-July.
Where the money went
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) absorbed the lion’s share, attracting approximately $1.2 billion of the week’s total. Fidelity’s FBTC came in second with roughly $702 million in net inflows. ARK 21Shares’ ARKB rounded out the top three at approximately $295 million. Between them, these three products accounted for more than 90% of the week’s capital.
The daily pattern told its own story. Monday saw inflows peak at nearly $999 million, a figure that would have been noteworthy as a standalone weekly total just months ago. But momentum faded as the week progressed, with Friday’s inflow dwindling to $135 million.
That deceleration wasn’t random. Bitcoin briefly touched $87,000 early in the week before retreating to the $83,000 to $84,000 range, and the pullback appeared to cool some of the buying enthusiasm.
It’s not just Bitcoin anymore
The inflow story extended well beyond Bitcoin. Ether ETFs attracted about $690 million during the same week. XRP ETFs drew approximately $76 million. Solana ETFs pulled in roughly $188 million.
The bigger picture
To appreciate how dramatic this turnaround is, consider the math. Spot Bitcoin ETFs spent most of 2026’s first half bleeding capital. The deficit peaked around $5.8 billion in mid-July. Climbing from negative $5.8 billion to positive $934 million in roughly two months required sustained, aggressive buying. The seven-session inflow streak that preceded this record week suggests the shift isn’t a one-off event but rather a more durable change in positioning.
Since their introduction in January 2024, spot Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated cumulative net inflows exceeding $57 billion and total assets under management reaching approximately $108 billion by late September 2026. The market faced significant challenges earlier this year, including a record $4.51 billion in outflows in June.
