CPSE ETF leads index ETFs in three-year CAGR returns; delivers 30.5% gain
CPSE ETF delivered 30.5% CAGR returns over three years and 3.2% CAGR over the last one year, according to ACE MF data on June 29.

CPSE ETF currently leads the index ETF category with a three-year CAGR return of 30.5 percent. It is followed by Kotak Nifty PSU Bank ETF and Nippon India ETF Nifty PSU Bank BeES, which delivered returns of 28.7 percent and 28.7 percent, respectively, over the same period, according to ACE MF data on June 29.
The ranking considers only schemes with assets under management of at least Rs 1,500 crore. Among the top five funds that meet this criterion, CPSE ETF has the largest corpus at Rs 20,959.3 crore.
The benchmark comparison is also important. CPSE ETF was ahead of its benchmark by 21.2 percentage points on a three-year basis, with the benchmark returning 9.3%. It was also ahead of its benchmark by 8.7 percentage points on a one-year basis, with the benchmark returning -5.5%.
The order changes on a one-month basis. Nippon India ETF Nifty PSU Bank BeES delivered the strongest return among these five schemes at 4.9 percent.
The order changes on a three-month basis. Nippon India Nifty Pharma ETF delivered the strongest return among these five schemes at 11.9 percent.
The one-year ranking gives a different reading. Nippon India ETF Nifty PSU Bank BeES is ahead on this measure with a return of 22.0 percent.
Looking at more than one return period gives investors a fuller picture. The top performer in a recent window may differ from the fund that has delivered stronger longer-term returns.
