Dow down 550 points as Alphabet posts biggest drop in the index
The Dow was down 1.1%, with Google parent Alphabet the worst-performing stock in the blue-chip stock index, according to FactSet data, at last check. Fellow Big Tech stock Amazon had the second-biggest loss in the Dow in afternoon trading, followed by Salesforce, FactSet data showed.
