AI-linked and semiconductor stocks came under pressure in premarket trading. Nvidia fell more than 2%, while Intel, AMD and Marvell Technology declined 5.5%, 5.1% and 7%, respectively. The moves came after executives including Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, Elon Musk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman backed calls for a slower pace of AI development, raising concerns about the sector’s outlook.
