US stock futures were mixed early Thursday, with Nasdaq 100 futures falling 1.1% as pressure on technology shares persisted after hotter-than-expected inflation data drove the Nasdaq and S&P 500 to their biggest one-day declines since July. At 5:50 a.m. ET, Dow futures rose 165 points, or 0.32%, while S&P 500 futures fell 21 points, or 0.27%, and Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 331.5 points, or 1.1%.
