For those tired of investing: Asset building you can continue without overexerting yourself
You don’t have to work hard at investing
Don’t ruin your life today to help your future self
Introduction
There are things that people who have just started investing feel at first.
“I need to study more.”
“I need to check stock prices every day.”
“I need to invest larger amounts.”
“If there is a crash, I need to make a decision immediately.”
If you open social media, you will see people investing hundreds of thousands of yen every month.
There are also people who have made large profits in a short period of time.
Sometimes, people younger than you have already built up significant assets.
As a result, people who have just started investing feel like they are the only ones falling behind.
But I want to tell you this.
You don’t have to work hard at investing.
“You don’t have to work hard” here does not mean you don’t have to think at all.
You don’t have to invest to the point of ruining your life.
You don’t have to compare your amounts with others.
You don’t have to let your heart be swayed by daily price fluctuations.
You don’t have to try to guess the perfect timing.
Once you have created a system that you can continue, all you have to do is keep at it calmly.
I started index investing at the age of 35.
I continued with the philosophy of investing in a diversified manner across the entire world, and I achieved 100 million yen and reached FIRE at age 55.
However, I was not able to maintain a strong mindset for all 20 years.
I felt anxious when prices dropped.
There were times I wanted to sell.
There were days I regretted starting to invest.
Even so, the reason I was able to continue was not because I kept working hard.
It was because I created a form that I could continue without having to work hard.
In this article, I will write about the mindset I believe is important for those who have just started investing, those who are about to start, and those who have become tired of investing.
Investment trusts and stocks have the potential for principal loss. This article does not recommend any specific products or trading. Please make decisions within the scope of what you understand after securing your emergency fund and money you will need in the near future.
