ICICI Pru NASDAQ 100 Index Fund leads index funds – other index mutual funds in one-year CAGR returns; delivers 39.4% gain
ICICI Pru NASDAQ 100 Index Fund delivered 39.4% CAGR returns over the last one year and 29.8% CAGR over three years, according to ACE MF data on July 21.

Among index funds – other index mutual funds that meet the screen used for this ranking, ICICI Pru NASDAQ 100 Index Fund is at the top on one-year CAGR returns. The fund delivered 39.4 percent, ahead of Motilal Oswal S&P 500 Index Fund at 32.5 percent and Motilal Oswal BSE Enhanced Value Index Fund at 8.4 percent, according to ACE MF data on July 21.
The ranking considers only schemes with assets under management of at least Rs 1,500 crore. Among the top five funds that meet this criterion, Motilal Oswal S&P 500 Index Fund has the largest corpus at Rs 4,487.1 crore.
The benchmark comparison is also important. ICICI Pru NASDAQ 100 Index Fund was ahead of its benchmark by 13.6 percentage points on a one-year basis, with the benchmark returning 25.8%. It was also ahead of its benchmark by 6.2 percentage points on a three-year basis, with the benchmark returning 23.6%.
The order changes on a one-month basis. Motilal Oswal S&P 500 Index Fund delivered the strongest return among these five schemes at 2.2 percent.
The lead does not change on a three-month basis either. ICICI Pru NASDAQ 100 Index Fund also tops this comparison with a return of 13.2 percent.
There is no change at the top when the three-year window is considered. ICICI Pru NASDAQ 100 Index Fund remains ahead with 29.8 percent.
The variation across return windows shows why rankings can look different depending on the period being considered. A short-term leader may not always be the same as the fund that has done well over a longer horizon.
