James Nicholson named to to board for Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland
CLEVELAND − The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland has announced appointments to its main office board of directors and its branch boards in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.
Named to the main board in Cleveland as a director was James Nicholson, chief executive officer of North Valley Bank in Zanesville.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is one of 12 regional reserve banks that along with the board of governors in Washington D.C. comprise the federal reserve system. Part of the U.S. central bank, the Cleveland Fed participates in the formulation of the nation’s monetary policy, supervises banking organizations, provides payment and other services to financial institutions and to the U.S. Treasury, and performs many activities that support federal reserve operations system wide.
