National Bank Of Canada Discloses Stakes In Crypto ETFs
National Bank of Canada (TSX: $NA) has disclosed significant stakes in several cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
In a 13F regulatory filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Montreal-based National Bank of Canada disclosed that it has millions of dollars invested in crypto ETFs.
National Bank, which is the sixth largest commercial bank in Canada, said that at the end of the year’s second quarter on June 30 it held multiple crypto investments.

These include 3,848 shares of the Bitwise XRP ETF ($XRP) that’s worth $43,443.92 U.S. at current prices.
National Bank also reported an investment in the ProShares Bitcoin ETF ($BITO).
The lender reported owning 42,321 shares of the BITO ETF worth $361,421.34 U.S.
Its largest crypto investment involves 55,644 shares of the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund ($FBTC) worth $3.07 million U.S.
Finally, National Bank of Canada held 6,831 shares of the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust ETF ($GBTC) at the end of June worth $334,719 U.S.
And the bank owned 2,596 shares of the Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF ($BTC) valued at $72,662.04 U.S.
NA stock has risen 53% over the last 12 months to trade at $225.15 per share in Toronto.
