Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock rose about 2% on Tuesday morning trading despite its Indian unit signed a long-term office lease in Bengaluru, marking a larger push into one of Asia’s key tech hubs.
NVIDIA Graphics has taken about 760,000 square feet in Mahadevpura, a Bengaluru district, under a 10-year agreement worth more than $130 million, Nvidia said in a report. The company also paid a security deposit of more than $3.6 million. The deal started on April 1, 2026.
The space covers 12 floors at Bagmane Capital’s Memphis South Tower. Nvidia’s move now takes its known office footprint in India to more than twice its previous size.
The lease ranks among Bengaluru’s biggest office transactions and points to Nvidia’s expanding engineering and AI presence in India. Nvidia has been building out operations in the country as demand rises for chip design and related software work.
The expansion also suggests Nvidia is continuing to add capacity outside the U.S. as it leans on India for talent, back-office support and product development tied to its AI push over the longer term.
