Popular Fermanagh principal announces retirement plans
Mr. McTeggart, a popular figure in the local area, told staff and students this morning (Friday, April 26) of his intentions to retire.
The news comes a day after St. Aidan’s High School won the McEvoy Cup, their second Ulster title in a year.
In January, the school won its first Ulster title in its 50-year history when they took home the McCormack Cup.
In February, the school was named Fermanagh’s top non-selective secondary school for GCSE performance in 2022/23.
A former student of St. Aidan’s High School, Mr. McTeggart has worked for forty years as a teacher.
