Price Prediction: Cisco Stock Will Trade at $200 on This Date
Cisco’s AI order book has management calling it a networking supercycle, and shareholders want to know if a $200 share price is the payoff. A fresh model breaks down exactly how far the rally can realistically run and what stands…
Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO | CSCO Price Prediction) has run hard on AI networking demand, and the obvious next question for shareholders is whether $200 a share is on the horizon. We modeled what a $1,000 investment could become by 2031, starting from a reference price of $113.64.
Shares were changing hands near $109.13 noon, down 3.97% on the session. With an AI order book that management calls a supercycle, Cisco deserves a fresh forward look.
Your $1,000 Could Reach About $1,563.50 by 2031
In the five-year base case, a $1,000 investment might reach roughly $1,563.50 by 2031, a total return of 56.35%. The estimate assumes a modeled share price of $177.67 on October 15, 2031, which works out to 9.35% a year.
Neither horizon in the model gets Cisco to $200. The highest target is the five-year bull case at $187.86. Getting to $200 from the reference price would take a gain of 75.9944%. That makes $200 an hypothetical stretch scenario beyond 2031. The model gives no date for it.
Bull, Base and Bear Scenarios for a $1,000 Stake

| Bear | 2031 | $120.89 | 6.38% | $1,063.80 |

| Bear | 2027 | $109.27 | -3.84% | $961.60 |
The model gives its forecast a confidence score of 0.9, which it rates as high. Wall Street’s consensus target is $136.16. The analyst count is 5 strong buys, 14 buys, 10 holds and 0 sells.
Three Drivers Behind Cisco’s Upside Case
AI Orders Are Turning Into Revenue
Cisco took in $9.30B of AI orders in fiscal 2026 and guided AI infrastructure revenue to about $7.5B in fiscal 2027, up from roughly $4 billion. Chief Executive Chuck Robbins called it “a multi-year, multi-billion dollar networking super cycle.” In the fourth quarter, networking product orders grew 40% year over year.
Guidance Points to Faster Earnings Growth
Management expects fiscal 2027 revenue of $72.2B to $73.4B and non-GAAP EPS of $5.05 to $5.11, compared with $4.33 in fiscal 2026. The model works from forward EPS of $5.146 and a forward P/E of 22. A higher multiple on those earnings is how the long-term path gets built.
Consistent Beats and Steady Capital Returns
Cisco has exceeded EPS estimates for 6 consecutive quarters. Its latest report showed $1.22 against a $1.17 estimate, on revenue of $17.25B. Shareholders collect a $0.42 quarterly dividend, and $8.1B remains on the buyback authorization.
Risks That Could Sink the Projection
Margins are already under pressure. Non-GAAP gross margin fell to 66.3% from 68.4% as AI hardware took a larger share of the mix, and the CFO expects a slight drag in fiscal 2027. The AI growth story leans on hyperscaler capital spending, which can change fast (we covered seven of the suppliers riding that expansion, from power to networking, in a free report here).
Fiscal 2027 guidance already includes tariffs and a restructuring plan announced on May 13, 2026, and execution on both could fell. Geopolitics and supply constraints add further uncertainty.
The stock is also volatile. Shares are up 61.84% over the past year but down 7.04% over the past week, and the 52-week high is $129.38.
Retail view is also marked as bearish. The next test comes with the fiscal first-quarter earnings report on November 12, 2026, where guidance calls for revenue of $18.0B to $18.2B.
What Your $1,000 Could Become
By 2031, the model puts a $1,000 Cisco investment somewhere between $1,063.80 and $1,653.10, with $1,563.50 as the base case. A $200 share price stands above even the bull case, so it remains outside the modeled outcomes. The modeled scenarios above do not constitute investment advice.
