Quant Value Fund leads value mutual funds in one-year CAGR returns; delivers 19.0% gain
Quant Value Fund delivered 19.0% CAGR returns over the last one year and 20.0% CAGR over three years, according to ACE MF data on August 10.

Among value mutual funds that meet the screen used for this ranking, Quant Value Fund is at the top on one-year CAGR returns. The fund delivered 19.0 percent, ahead of Aditya Birla SL Value Fund at 16.6 percent and DSP Value Fund at 14.2 percent, according to ACE MF data on August 10.
The ranking considers only schemes with assets under management of at least Rs 1,500 crore. Among the top five funds that meet this criterion, HDFC Value Fund has the largest corpus at Rs 7,933.6 crore.
The benchmark comparison is also important. Quant Value Fund was ahead of its benchmark by 16.9 percentage points on a one-year basis, with the benchmark returning 2.1%. It was also ahead of its benchmark by 10.7 percentage points on a three-year basis, with the benchmark returning 9.2%.
The one-month ranking gives a different reading. Axis Value Fund is ahead on this measure with a return of 3.6 percent.
The leadership shifts in the three-month comparison, where HDFC Value Fund tops the list with 6.6 percent.
The same scheme also stays ahead on the three-year return chart. Quant Value Fund delivered 20.0 percent over this period.
Looking at more than one return period gives investors a fuller picture. The top performer in a recent window may differ from the fund that has delivered stronger longer-term returns.

What is a value fund?
Funds in the value fund category should be assessed against schemes with similar investment mandates. Return comparisons across unrelated categories may not be meaningful because risk, asset allocation and portfolio strategy can differ sharply.
