Quant Value Fund leads value mutual funds in three-year CAGR returns; delivers 23.7% gain
Quant Value Fund delivered 23.7% CAGR returns over three years and 15.5% CAGR over the last one year, according to ACE MF data on June 29.

Among value mutual funds that meet the screen used for this ranking, Quant Value Fund is at the top on three-year CAGR returns. The fund delivered 23.7 percent, ahead of HSBC Value Fund at 19.4 percent and Axis Value Fund at 18.4 percent, according to ACE MF data on June 29.
The ranking considers only schemes with assets under management of at least Rs 1,500 crore. Among the top five funds that meet this criterion, HSBC Value Fund has the largest corpus at Rs 14,547.7 crore.
The benchmark comparison is also important. Quant Value Fund was ahead of its benchmark by 14.3 percentage points on a three-year basis, with the benchmark returning 9.3%. It was also ahead of its benchmark by 21.0 percentage points on a one-year basis, with the benchmark returning -5.5%.
The lead does not change on a one-month basis either. Quant Value Fund also tops this comparison with a return of 2.1 percent.
The same scheme also stays ahead on the three-month return chart. Quant Value Fund delivered 25.1 percent over this period.
The one-year return table also has Quant Value Fund in front, with the fund delivering 15.5 percent.
Looking at more than one return period gives investors a fuller picture. The top performer in a recent window may differ from the fund that has delivered stronger longer-term returns.

Funds in the value fund category should be assessed against schemes with similar investment mandates. Return comparisons across unrelated categories may not be meaningful because risk, asset allocation and portfolio strategy can differ sharply.
