Shapiro administration announces Schools-to-Work funding
At a Pittsburgh company involved with video-game development, state Department of Labor & Industry Secretary Nancy A. Walker underscored the Shapiro administration’s commitment to expanding apprenticeship opportunities for the next generation of Pennsylvania workers.
Walker visited Sigma Resources, which prepares high school students for careers in video-game development through a registered pre-apprenticeship program supported by her department’s Schools-to-Work initiative.
