Solana ETFs Hit Record $188M Weekly Inflows
TLDR
U.S. spot Solana ETFs recorded their biggest week yet, attracting $188 million in net inflows.
Bitwise’s BSOL led the market with about $128 million, taking nearly two-thirds of weekly inflows.
Every Solana ETF posted inflows, showing demand spread beyond Bitwise to rival issuers.
Friday was the strongest session, with Solana funds adding about $87 million in one day.
The inflows came as Solana’s Alpenglow upgrade moved forward in testing, while SOL traded near $119.
Solana ETFs attracted a record $188 million last week, as U.S. spot funds tied to SOL drew demand across the group. Bitwise led the flows, while every listed product reported new money. Net inflows track new cash entering funds after withdrawals. They do not measure the value of ETF shares traded between buyers and sellers. The measure shows the group’s direct weekly fund demand during a trading week.
Solana ETFs Draw Record Weekly Demand
BSOL took about $128 million during the five sessions through Sept. 25, equal to roughly two-thirds of the weekly total. Grayscale’s GSOL followed with $28 million, while Fidelity’s FSOL added $18 million. Morgan Stanley, VanEck, Franklin Templeton and 21Shares shared the remaining $14 million. Friday produced the strongest daily figure, with Solana funds adding about $87 million, including $56 million for Bitwise.
Bitwise still controls most Solana ETF demand. Its BSOL fund has collected about $1.2 billion from the group’s $1.6 billion in lifetime net inflows, according to the latest SOL trading update. Last week, its 68% share sat below its longer-term 76% share. That shift showed more activity across rival funds, which gathered about $60 million together during the same period.
Broader Crypto Funds Also Add Cash
The Solana ETF inflows came during a strong week for U.S. crypto funds. Spot bitcoin ETFs added about $2.4 billion, while ether products attracted roughly $690 million, based on daily fund flow data. That wider demand matched recent market reports on record Bitcoin ETF demand. These products let buyers gain crypto exposure through brokerage accounts, without handling wallets or private keys.
SOL traded near $119 during Monday Asian morning hours, still about 60% below its record near $293. The price move came as developers advanced Alpenglow on Solana’s public testing network. Alpenglow aims to cut the time before a payment becomes final from about 12.8 seconds to roughly 150 milliseconds. Developers moved it to the network’s second public test setting on Friday, according to the Alpenglow test update. The target remains under testing, and Solana has not announced a live launch date.
