[Swing Trading Diary] 2026/09/25 Growing Daily
Today I placed an order for the first time in over two weeks.
As I wrote yesterday, I had been swing trading based on Shiro Aiba’s books, but starting today, I am moving away from that and trying to view the market with a broader perspective (which is a bit confusing given the name).
With that in mind, I decided to re-examine the charts of the nearly 200 stocks I am currently tracking and visualize things like trend lines and support/resistance lines.
I drew lines on several clear patterns and stocks that look like potential trade candidates.
I immediately applied this mindset to today’s entry, deciding to reduce my lot size because, while it met my entry criteria, there was a high probability of a bounce at that line.
I feel like I’ve grown a little bit as a trader, if I do say so myself. lol
Yesterday’s Market Outlook
Nikkei 225 continued to rise, up 495 yen. TOPIX continued to fall, down 15.84 points.
Prime Market: 674 stocks rose, 838 fell.
Large-cap high-tech and semiconductor stocks rose, but value stocks, steel, electric power, and gas sectors fell.
Of the three major US indices, only the Dow fell slightly, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq remained mostly flat.
US 10-year Treasury yields rose due to concerns over prolonged inflation following the rise in crude oil futures prices.
Candidate Stocks

Profit target: 1206 yen
Stop-loss price: 1266 yen
Risk 20: Reward 40
Looking at the weekly and monthly charts, the price has bounced multiple times at the recent low of 1206 yen, so I will set that as my target for now.
In that case, the risk-reward ratio meets my criteria, so I placed a market-open limit order at the current price.
However, given the market environment and the risk-reward ratio, I am not very confident in this entry, so I will keep the lot size small at 200 shares.
Today’s Order
