Tech stocks live: Tech-heavy Nasdaq climbs ahead of Big Tech earnings kickoff

The tech-heavy Nasdaq climbed in early market action on Tuesday, as Big Tech companies kick off their earnings season. Google (GOOG, GOOGL) and Tesla (TSLA) will report after the bell on Wednesday, with Intel (INTC) set to follow on Thursday.

Intel’s stock has been riding the AI data center growth story to new highs, though it’s since come off those highs as traders rotated out of the semiconductor sector. Google has gotten a similar boost from the AI boom, though its stock price growth has moderated over the past few months.

Shares of Tesla, meanwhile, have struggled since the start of the year, falling about 17%.

This week, AMD (AMD) will host its Advancing AI event in San Francisco, where it’s expected to announce updates to its product lines across its data center unit.
