US Stock Market Today | Dow Jones | Nasdaq Live: Alphabet, Amazon rise on strong cloud; Meta, Microsoft slide on capex

Tech earnings painted a mixed picture, with Alphabet shares jumping 6.3% in premarket after a record quarter for its cloud unit, while Amazon gained 2.5% on strong cloud sales. However, Meta Platforms and Microsoft fell 8.6% and 1.9%, respectively, as investor concerns grew over their capital spending plans.
