DOJ: Greensburg woman confesses to stealing Social Security benefits after relative’s death
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A 62-year-old Greensburg woman pleaded guilty to stealing $50,000 in Social Security benefits meant for a deceased family member.
Acting U.S. Attorney Ellison C. Travis said that Beverly Watson McNabb entered her guilty plea to one count of theft of government funds.
