US markets tanked the most since President Donald Trump’s tariff tantrums in April on Friday, October 10, over renewed hostilities between the US and China.
The Dow Jones fell nearly 900 points, while the Nasdaq declined over 3.5%, after hitting an intraday record high before the President’s announcement. The fall on the Nasdaq was also exaggerated due to a 7% fall in shares of Qualcomm,
