Millions of Americans receiving Social Security benefits have scheduled payment dates throughout October 2026, with eligibility for each deposit depending on when benefits began or the recipient’s birthdate.

Some beneficiaries are due their money on Wednesday, October 28 whilst Social Security retirement, disability and survivor benefits follow a staggered payment schedule for most people who began receiving payments after May 1997.
