US Stock Market Today | Dow Jones | Nasdaq Live: Crude extends gains on Iran talks

Oil prices surged Tuesday as stalled efforts to reopen theStrait of Hormuz kept supply concerns elevated, while stock markets showed mixed moves as investors refocused on interest-rate expectations and corporate earnings. The White House offered no clarity on whether US President Donald Trump would accept Iran’s latest proposals, pushing Brent above $110 a barrel and WTI close to $100.
