Distribution for the first Social Security payments this month starts Thursday, July 8^th.

Traditional Social Security payments are made on a set schedule based on the recipient’s birthday.

The schedule is:

• Born on 1^st – 10^th – Benefits paid on the second Wednesday of the month

• Born 11^th – 20^th – Benefits paid on the third Wednesday of the month

• Born 21^st – 31^st – Benefits paid on the fourth Wednesday of the month
